One of the new tracks I’ve worked on lately is basically done. Somehow minimalist and pure. Still some work to do on a few overdubs. The title is yet to be chosen.

Una delle canzoni a cui ho lavorato ultimamente è praticamente finita. Minimalista e pura, in qualche modo. Ancora un pò di lavoro da fare nelle sovrincisioni. Titolo da definire.

Ladyswimmer RMDL

Some months ago I’ve been asked to remix a song from Superpartner’s first album. The result is “Ladyswimmer RMDL”, and it actually ended up being more a sort of experimental rewriting than a classic remix. The song has been mastered at Calyx Studio, here in Berlin. It should be available soon as a limited edition cd and digital download.

Alcuni mesi fa mi è stato chiesto di scegliere un brano dal primo album dei Superpartner per un remix. Il risultato è “Ladyswimmer RMDL”, più una sorta di riscrittura sperimentale che un classico remix. Il mastering è stato effettuato presso il Calyx, Studio, qui a Berlino. Sarà disponibile presto sia su cd in edizione limitata che come download digitale.

Good news, bad news

I’ve kept on working on a song-based solo/collaborative album. The good news is that I’ve been joined by some great artists like David Darling (cello player and composer, with releases on ECM, etc.), Eivind Opsvik (an amazing Norwegian-New Yorker upright bass player and composer), Claude-Samuel Levine (Ondes Martenot player, and session-man with Radiohead, among others). More artists are hopefully going to join soon. The bad news is that it’s quite hard to find the right voices for these songs. Drop me a line or send me some of your music, using the dropbox on the Contact page.

Ho continuato a lavorare su un album di canzoni, basato una serie di collaborazioni. La buona notizia riguarda il supporto ricevuto da artisti come David Darling (violoncellista e compositore, ECM, ecc), Eivind Opsvik (fantastico contrabbasista compositore), Claude-Samuel Levine (Ondes Martenot, session-man con Radiohead, tra gli altri). Purtroppo non è facile trovare le voci giuste per questi pezzi …
